The Kansas Delaware Tribe of Indians will hold its annual meeting, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Wyandotte County History Museum, located at 631 North 126th Street in the Wyandotte County Park just north of Bonner Springs, Kansas.

The morning business meeting begins immediately following a smudging ceremony that opens the annual event. Activities include a drum circle, hands-on crafts for the children and a cultural history presentation of the traditional Delaware Stomp Dance led by Josh Fall Leaf, Dean of College Humanities, Haskell Indian Nations University.

A luncheon will be served at noon. Bring your children, a covered dish and the addresses of all your relatives so that we can update our rolls. Plates, utensils and drinks will be provided. This will be another entertaining and informative gathering of Kansas Delaware.
